Schissler Land Surveying is a land surveying firm established by Ralph C. Schissler III, a 1989 graduate of Paul Smith.s College and a New York State Licensed Land Surveyor, with over 18 years of experience. We offer a wide variety of surveying services for the homeowner, soon-to-be homeowner, business person, developers, as well as other professionals.

 

Mr. Schissler has several years of experience with Boundary and Mortgage Surveys, as well as Subdivisions, throughout Essex Clinton and Franklin Counties. He has worked with several of the areas realtors, attorneys, and lending institutions to help meet the needs of their clients and has performed countless surveys for projects of varying sizes, unique needs and special concerns. Mr. Schissler has performed many subdivisions within the Adirondack Park Agency jurisdiction, as well as the surrounding area outside of the park.s .blueline. and has an extensive background in land planning. He is well versed in many of the surrounding Town.s Subdivision and Zoning regulations and has represented numerous clients before local planning and zoning boards.

   

As a surveyor, Mr. Schissler has a varied professional background, working for both small firms and large corporate firms, as well as the State of New York. Mr. Schissler managed the Surveying Department of a Plattsburgh-based engineering/surveying firm as well as the Survey Division of the New York Office of a top 500 design firm. He has performed countless route, design, and topographic surveys for development and design purposes and performed countless ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys for commercial financing and development for both local area developers and large national chains, including Rite Aid, Lowes, and Walmart. As a Land Surveyor, his professional career expanded into state service, working for the New York State Department of Transportation, Region 8, where he gained experience with Highway Law issues and the needs and requirements of the agency.
